3 generations had a quick bite here after a spot of shopping. The adults of the group hadn't eaten here in years and the 2 children had never been here before. We ordered 2 seafood chowders at €7.95 each. We could choose between brown bread or garlic bread which I thought was a lovely touch. My mother and I were impressed by the flavourful chowder which had plenty of fish chunks in it. The kids (aged 5.5 and 3.5 yrs) shared a chicken goujons and chips at €6.95 between them. They enjoyed it and asked when could they come back before we had even left. We ordered water for the table. Staff were efficient. There was a lovely atmosphere to the cafe both inside and outside (where we sat). Overall, we really enjoyed our quick bite here and would recommend it for being family friendly, reasonable and for the tasty chowder. Keep doing what you are doing. Maith thú.

Very nice little cafe with a lovely ambiance. Very busy even after peak lunch time which is a good sign if any. There is seating inside and out and the coffee is very good. The menu seems very nice and affordable too. One of the better cafes in Athlone that I have been in. The waiting staff are friendly and helpful and very much on the ball with greeting and assisting customers as I was only in the door when I was directed to a table

The best cafe in Athlone! The food is amazing my wife is Italian and she Loved the sausage rolls and that's some compliment if an Italian likes any other food that is not Italian. The service is so friendly and the prices so reasonable, a real jewel to come and visit when your tired and want to sit down and have a coffee of something to eat. Wonderful find in Athlone, a must place cafe to visit!!

The best cafe in Athlone! The food is amazing my wife is Italian and she Loved the sausage rolls and that's some compliment if an Italian likes any other food that is not Italian. The service is so friendly and the prices so reasonable, a real jewel to come and visit when your tired and want to sit down and have a coffee of something to eat. Wonderful find in Athlone, a must place cafe to visit!!

I found this place after a long drive to athlone. The waitress came over and took my order I asked for a bowl of soup and toasty. Which my reply was is that all for you that's ALOT Keeping in mind other people in the shop very embaressing to be told others wasted food that was not my problem? I asked for something to be told I would get a cup as a bowl was big making me feel extremely u comfortable. The food was brought and literally a small coffee cup with soup in it I am not a toddler I'm 37 years old and a paying customer I found it extremely rude and embaressing to say the least. The manager gave coffee for free but irrelevant when I had asked for something to be refused because of what? I had already said I would eat a bowl not that it matters who is any waitress to say such things to customers really embaressed over it all and...

Nice to hear it’s a good place . Will try and visit soon pls God. Sorry to hear about the crazy energy bills that the government is allowing Europe/ US politics to be allowed to cause this crazy thing to be happening. Even the biggest businesses will close if this is let go on . I would hate to see these small good shops being closed . There is a international clique pushing this evil upon us . I sincerely wish you well . People need to start calling upon the Lord for strength to get through what’s coming ....
