đ Michelin Tire Award for Excellence in Jaw Endurance 1 Star (because zero wasnât an option)
Category: Most Relentless Misrepresentation of Lamb Biryani.
Let me paint you a picture. I, a humble survivor of many a food disappointment, placed my trust (and money) in what I thought was going to be a comforting, flavorful lamb biryani. What I received, instead, was a masterclass in how to assassinate expectations and ruin someone's evening.
I want to be absolutely clear, Iâm not awarding this dish a Michelin star. That would imply some semblance of quality. No, Iâm awarding it what it truly deserves: a Michelin tire, because the lamb tasted like it was carved off a radial sidewall and braised in remorse. Every chew was a negotiation. My jaw filed a union complaint. I didnât eat that biryani, I endured it.
This wasnât âcookedâ lamb. This was âslow-chewedâ regret. A meditative exercise in dental attrition. Every bite was a war crime against flavor, and every swallow was an existential question. Who cooked this? And why do they hate happiness? What spice mix did they use, printer toner? Was the recipe: âFind meat, remove joy, replace with despairâ?
I ordered the dish expecting 'comfort food'. What I got was needing therapy and floss. And possibly a jaw reconstruction specialist.

Read moreI'd ordered some starters, and Chicken Tikka Masala and Peshawari Naan over the weekend. The order was due to arrive in 50-55 mins by 22.35. I rang the restaurant at 22.39 and the person there said that the delivery guy has 2 deliveries, he should be there in 10 mins or so. Rang the restaurant twice as it had been over 20 mins after the scheduled delivery time. No response.
We were about to go to the restaurant to check what the issue was despite knowing that they're closed for business but maybe still clearing the premises. The food was left at the front neighbor's door. No calls made to us to share that the food was left there. I appreciate it maybe the last delivery but it still doesn't justify not informing where the parcel's been left.
The food was mediocre. Bhajis tasted doughy, and had close to a burnt taste, oily not crispy at all. Samosas were just spicy and the vegetables in it had lost all flavour. Peshawari naan seemed taken out of the freezer, it was soft and had no crunch really. Other non vegetarian starters were also pretty okay.
Overall, a disappointment. May not...
Read moreBased on the other reviews, I think they need to give up on delivery orders. After a long day, we were looking forward to relaxing with some good food. We're staying 5 minutes from the restaurant, but it took 2 hours to finally be delivered. We kept requesting updates but were ignored. When it was finally delivered, the food was cold and bland. I typically love Lamb Korma but it was horrible. The lamb was very tough and the korma sauce was like flavorless soup. I'm pretty sure it was only cream and butter with no salt, pepper or any other seasonings. I'm usually not one to complain but we spent âŹ45 on on 2 entrees and ended up throwing most of it away it was so bad. Maybe their other dishes are better but don't order delivery and definitely...
