Not too impressed. €100 for few hours in the sun! Italy has arrived (in the list of few countries wanting to charge you for the air you breathe. Poor communication, don't answer questions online or via chat apps, even in italian. But when you come down, they expect you to already know everything. As of Aug 2023, parking (some 50m away and then another 100 to available slot) is €3 per hour, €20 per day. You have 5mins grace to shove things in and put on your driving loafers before they vharge you for another hour. And no, not in a shade but fully and properly exposed to the 35 degrees of all day sun. Then, €80 of your hard earned money for a pair of sunbeds. And they are quite close to other sunbeds, you may as well share the little stools with others and put cream on each others' backs. But to be fair, the stools are bigger than otherwise. Just before I forget, there are two sets of sunbeds, the blue ones are €120, they include parking (you park your car in) and as far as I could see, towels. Toilets, two of them, are free of charge, as long as you go to the beach hut to get the key first. (Sardinia is the only place I have come across so far where you need to tell someone that you're going to the toilet.) And toilets are the only place where you can change. There appears to be a shower, though there is a €1 sign next to it, go figure. There is no bar or coffee shop, perhaps somewhere further and hidden out of sight. Nowhere to chill out during the midday sun and have a glass of white or a beer. Having said that, the people next to us just got drinks delivered to them, I wonder from where, how did they order, perhaps while getting the key for the toilet?! Ah, edited, found the smallest shack possible, called the drunk bike, no running water, don't want to know how they wash those glasses, ok bottled drinks for me then it is - btw have you heard of the latest strain of Covid making rounds, the first different strand simce Omikron? Every 2mins you have people coming and asking if you want to buy the wears they sells, and I mean every 2 mins. Between you and me, it is cheaper in the south of France, pick any place, from the Pampellone by St Tropez to Menton norrth by the border with Italy, as long as you don't...
Read moreFor the two guys working the booth that sell the little beds. Terrible customer service. Yea, they are nice to you until you don't want to pay for their over priced beds. Once you turn that down, they'll no longer be your friend and try to get loud with you. I just let the little guy rant becaue, hey, his life is selling beds on a tourist beach 🤷♂️and handing out restaurant discount cards so, I just let the little weìrd0 vent and turned my back and continued planning my day calmly with my lady. The big guy in the booth doesn't do much but look miserable. Guys, park for free on the road. If you have a rental, like most do, buy a cheap chair or bring towelels and your own things. It'll be better than renting anything from these fake people. The girl will still sell you drinks. Lol. The beach is free btw. They own nothing but those beds and the little...
Read moreShardana Beach Club in Sardinia's Liscia Ruja falls severely short of expectations. Charging a whopping 120 euros for two ordinary beach beds is an unjustifiable rip-off. The absence of music and styling creates a lackluster ambiance, failing to deliver the vibrant atmosphere one anticipates at a beach club. Moreover, the complete absence of any form of service is a major letdown, leaving visitors feeling neglected and undervalued. Adding insult to injury, the nearby beach bar/restaurants are shockingly overpriced, with even the simplest salads starting at an exorbitant 30 euros. This establishment clearly prioritizes profit over providing a worthwhile experience for its patrons. Please...
