Weingut Zundlhof — Local services in Bolzano - Bozen

We stayed here for two nights on a tour of the lakes and mountains. The Weingut Zundhof is accessed through the entrance to the Hotel Magdalener Hof. It has ducks, geese and very large rabitts wandering the grounds and has a very friendly German speaking (no English) host. The room was clean if a little dated and had a balcony outside. No aircon so had to leave the door to the balcony open at night which proved to be a problem as the train line from Austria to Italy passes by about half a mile away in clear line of sight, meaning we were woken by early morning freight trains.||Shower was lukewarm and our ensuite was next to the bathroom which when in use caused gurgling noises from our shower.||Breakfast was charged as an extra.||In short whilst an acceptable place to stay we experienced better at...

Ci siamo fermati per 4 notti mentre stavamo a Bolzano per vedere i Mercatini di Natale e i dintorni. Prenotato con largo anticipo (in agosto), la proprietaria ci ha comunque riservato la stanza ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso rispetto agli alberghi di zona. Avevamo la colazione inclusa che era semplice ma abbondante, includeva caffè, thè (a scelta), latte, yogurt, marmellate, burro, paninetti freschi, affettati e formaggi locali.||La camera si trovava al secondo piano, aveva un bagno con la doccia. L'ambiente ben isolato dall'esterno, molto caldo (c'è un termosifone nella stanza e uno nel bagno; durante la notte sono staccati ma li attaccano presto la mattina), l'acqua della doccia è anche molto calda. La camera veniva sistemata ogni giorno della nostra permanenza, 1 volta sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani e il tappeto del bagno. ||Nel bagno non c'erano i saponi e il fon ( solo la carta igienica), però noi avevamo portato tutto da casa e comunque siamo sicuri che su richiesta ci avrebbero dato tutte le cose necessarie.||L'agriturismo si trova leggermente fuori della città ma a piedi il centro di Bolzano si raggiunge in 15-20 minuti. In più c'è anche un autobus che passa frequentemente anche durante i giorni festivi e weekend. ||I proprietari sono molto simpatici e accoglienti, producono anche il vino e l'agriturismo è circondato dagli uliveti. Simpatici anche i gatti , il cane e le oche con le galline :)||La struttura ha un suo parcheggio, un bistrot e un ristorante molto vicini....

Also die Fewos mögen ja vielleicht ganz ok sein, weil sie neueren Baudatums sind, aber die Doppelzimmer sind schon ziemlich hart an der Grenze des Akzeptablen. Sie sind seeeehr einfach und auch sauber, aber das Mobiliar ist zusammengestellt und alt, die Lampe, oder besser, Funzel an der Decke und im Bad verdient den Namen nicht. Es gibt keinen Fön und keine Handseife,das WLAN funktioniert nicht. Alles wirkt ausgesprochen lieblos. So auch das Frühstück.Es ist seeehr übersichtlich (8,- €pP)....kein Käse, keine Eier, kein Toast...Ins Nutellaglas geht jeder mit seinem eigenen Messer oder Löffel. Die Katze sitzt im Übrigen auch mit am Frühstückstisch....Wer's mag?! Obwohl es ein Weingut ist, gibt es noch nicht mal eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung. Im Kleiderschrank hängen wenige übrig gebliebene, zum Teil bestrickte Kleiderbügel, die Vorhangstangen sind mit Tesastreifen befestigt, im Bad kleben abgebrochene Haken an der Wand, einen Klorollenhalter gibt's nicht ... und, das ist aber sogesehen fast der kleinste Minuspunkt, die Autobahn und die Bahnstrecke, auf der teilweise auch nachts Güterzüge fahren, liegt in Sichtweite zum Balkon (ca. 250 m) und ist entsprechend laut.
