Mont Blanc tunnel is 11.6km long and lanes are narrow. Single bore tunnel with one lane each way. But well lit, arrow straight and you must drive between 50 and 70 kph. You are likely to be in a slow moving queue up to the entrance for up to an hour - particularly going France to Italy. The number of vehicles entering is restricted. One way is about 36 euros and return ticket about 58. Bought a return but wasn't told it was only valid for 7 days. Had to pay again on the way back so nearly a 100 euros total. Scandalous !!!
