Visited La Maison de Filippo in Entreves, Courmayeur, and it was a charming experience! This historic restaurant, open since 1965, has a cozy, rustic vibe with vintage decor that feels like stepping back in time. I tried the traditional Valdostan ravioli and polenta—tasty and authentic, though portions were smaller than expected. The staff was friendly but service slowed down when it got busy. Prices are on the higher side, but the Mont Blanc ice cream dessert was a highlight! Perfect for soaking up Aosta Valley’s atmosphere. Recommend for a unique dining experience!

Stunning food in a quaint, comfortable and friendly setting. Little out of the tourist trap area (though easy by bus) and therefore was populated entirely by Italians. It's run by a family who clearly care about their production, reputation and customers and they tripped over themselves to take care of me. The food was seasonal, fresh, delicious -- certainly the best Italian food I've had this week around Monte Bianco. I wish I had discovered it sooner so I could come back again.

– Les Maisons di Filippo Entrevés Un localino molto, delicato, curato in ogni dettaglio e capace di offrire un’atmosfera raccolta, intima e profondamente accogliente, specialmente nelle ore serali con oggetti della tradizione che ti abbracciano nei loro ricordi del posto. La carta beverage è essenziale ma ben scelta: tra le proposte, ci ha colpito in particolare una Sambuca Quaglia, perfetta per accompagnare il caffè con armonia. Il caffè alla Valdostastana, intenso e profumato, è stato una vera coccola, ma ciò che ha reso speciale la nostra serata è stato il rito della Coppa dell’Amicizia, che qui si celebra nella forma più autentica. In foto si può notare la tipica coppa in legno, decorata e dotata di bocchettoni (da due fino a dieci), da cui si beve uno dopo l’altro, senza mai poggiarla sul tavolo — per rispetto della tradizione. La bevanda, il caffè alla valdostana, è un mix bollente di caffè, genepì, grappa, cognac e scorza di limone, zuccherato e acceso con una fiamma che ne caramella la superficie e ne sprigiona gli aromi. È un’esperienza che coinvolge vista, olfatto e palato, ma soprattutto cuore: un gesto di condivisione e amicizia. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: la ragazza gentile e preparata ci ha guidati con garbo tra sapori e tradizioni. Un locale che consiglio a chi desidera qualcosa di più di una semplice bevuta: un piccolo viaggio dentro la cultura valdostana, fatto di gusto, calore e convivialità.

I dont know why this restaurant even at one of the most recommended in Courmayeur. The place is quite nice, the servers are nice and friendly, but the place is too small, we couldnt move, smell odors of oil and it stayed in our clothes. The food was not good at all (sorry but I would say the look of the dishes was not inviting) from antipasti, to primi to secondi none of us 4 like any of the dishes. But seriously they could do better than that, obviously the restaurant was filled with stupid tourists like us. We tried other restaurants in Courmayeur and we were all happy and agreed not going back to...

We stopped by to buy some panini on our way to Monte Bianco Skyway which is about 400 meters away from this place, but my husband asked for prosciutto di Parma and he got one with prosciutto cotto and cheese, I asked for a tomato and cheese and I barely got two slices of tomato and one thin slice of cheese. The bread was chewy. The price was 8 and 6 euros. In my original review I had written "Mount Blank " instead of Monte Bianco and the owner' s original reply was that he did not know what is Mont Blank ....sorry about my mispelling but it does not change my true experience...
