We travelled from the UK specifically to see Andrea Bocelli perform at Teatro del Silenzio on 22 July. His voice was magical—as always—and the setting stunning, but the overall experience was badly let down by poor organisation.
It took 1.5 hours to crawl just 4km to the venue, followed by another 1.5 hours to get back. There were only two toilets for thousands of guests (one broken), no access to the empty VIP ones, and no programmes available to buy. We had “executive capacity” tickets but never understood what that meant—there was no special area or benefit. The concert didn’t begin until 9:40pm, and the seating was uncomfortable.
Also worth noting: I wore heels, which was a mistake! There’s a lot of walking on uneven, dusty terrain—definitely a flat shoe kind of night.
Andrea’s performance was exceptional, but the logistics turned what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience into an exhausting ordeal....
Read moreWe've booked the Andrea Bocelli concert tickets a year in advance. It's an experience worthy from all aspects. The excitement started from our home in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, even before we boarded the plane. The arrangement was perfect. Timing of the pick up by our chauffeur and the journey to Teatro del Silenzio was pure pleasant. We were greeted by the welcome Prosecco produce of Bocelli himself. Food was abundant and delicious, served by friendly hostess.
The concert itself was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Andrea and his friends ruled that night. It's magical and an experience of a lifetime.
Thank you everyone for working so hard to make the concert a...
Read moreWe were there for Andrea Bocelli’s concert and it pains me to say it was by far not the best experience. We’ve seen him before in Verona and Vienna. In Vienna we paid 1/5 of what we paid in Teatro del Silenzio for a front row seat and have to say the Lajatico show at least this year was not worth it, too much distraction, sound problems, the audience somehow was disrespectful towards the end. By the way, the concert started 2 hours late, the reason… the orchestra was stuck in traffic which summarises the poor organisation. We love Bocelli, but you get better value for money in...
