Such beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views all around — a truly stunning location. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. The octopus pasta and pistachio gnocchi were average at best. The real disappointment, however, was the “sliced beef with Tuscan pecorino fondue and baked vegetables”. The presentation was poor, and calling the sauce a “fondue” felt misleading — it was neither appetizing nor well-executed. At €20, this dish felt especially overpriced for what was served.

We took the waitress' recommendations for wine and after dinner drinks and they were excellent. The food was delicious, we savoured every bite. We especially enjoyed the beef with caramalized shallots and the cantuccini with vin santo.
