The terme is relaxing and good for your health but this spa needs updating especially the changing rooms. For the weekend cist of 20 eyros per person plus 5 euros deposit on a locker there should be a safer and cleaner environment. The floor was flooded and very slippery, the showers were clogged up with limescale and came out in a light spray, there were only 2 benches and the lockers were all wonky warped wood with rusty closures that didn't work, only 1 toilet and 1 hairdryer. The pool is very low like 2 feet so you can walk, sit and lie down but not swim. Caps are not obligatory and maximum time for being in water is 20 minutes as it's very hot at 43°+. Cinque stelle per la qualità benefica delle acque e dei fanghi, considerati tra i migliori a livello mondiale. Stessa valutazione per tutto il personale, in particolare quello della reception (Alice e Tommaso) e quello che si occupa delle terme (Susanna, Nadia e Francesca). Sono cliente da oltre un decennio e mi trovo benissimo. Il luogo, conosciuto e frequentato fin dall'antichità, è incantevole ed è esattamente a confine tra la provincia di Grosseto e quella di Siena. Lo stabilimento è dotato di vasche termali, di stanze per i trattamenti (fanghi e massaggi), di zone relax (sia interne che esterne) e di un bar. C'è anche un parcheggio esterno dedicato alla clientela. La struttura non è grandissima ed è stata ristrutturata circa un decennio fa. Proprio per questo avrebbe bisogno di interventi abbastanza immediati per risolvere le problematiche dovute all'usura. Ad esempio, c'è da anni un armadietto fuori uso negli spogliatoi degli uomini, ci sono vasche che funzionano male nelle quattro stanzette adibite ai fanghi e ai bagni, costringendo i clienti ad andare a immergersi nelle vasche esterne a quella specifica area, ci sono segni evidenti di usura sia nelle predette stanze che in altre parti dello stabilimento. Le terme di Petriolo fanno parte della società che gestisce anche quelle assai più grandi di Rapolano. La sensazione, assolutamente personale, è che quelle di Petriolo possano essere un po' trascurate in favore delle altre, ma, vista la qualità delle acque e dei fanghi, meriterebbero maggiori cure e attenzioni. Beautiful termas in nature. The best way to relax in warm water even in winter. Getting down (and up) the slope might be a bit hard when it is wet and muddy but most of the people comes there wearing bathrobes and pool slippers when they get out of the car, which you have to leave a few or a dozen meters away in the parking lot or street.
