One of the best hidden gems in Palermo. So many viewpoints and easy hiking trails around, most of them offering a breathtaking view of of the city. If you come here, I would recommend to take the 812 bus from the city all the way to the top and descend on foot. (Bus 812 runs every hour but the route length is displayed incorrectly on google maps. The bus only departs on time from the first stop, then arrives to the top whenever it can, which is usually 20-25mins before the scheduled time, so if you would want to board it after the fist stop, arrive to the bus...

Visited bact in 2016.This beautiful monastery is build inside the caves. Its breathtaking, its beautiful. If you go further up in the mountine you will find the view that captures the entire Palermo! Breathe taking view's up there. Well now why 2 stars? In the monastery there is water that is labeled as cure for eye diseases...That's cool but however in order to get it you need to pay for it (you have to pay for empty bottle if you want to get your water) For me that's shameful it should be give what you can.
