So disappointing to find a beach closed sign has been erected. The sign says the beach is closed due to pollution. It is a lovely looking beach with not much rubbish washed up and the water looked clear and beautiful. I asked for advice on the pollution and whether it was a temporary problem but couldn’t find an answer anywhere. We had planned our stay in Scaccia based on being able to do a daily walk to the beach for a swim, seems our plans need revision. Would appreciate knowing more about the pollution issue and there being some more public notice of it.

Thanks for the information Lisa, went further down the beach to Spiaggia di Contrada Foggia … still closed between Lido and Contrada Foggia. Disappointing.

Plaża publiczna. Dość czysta , niestety przy brzegu w wodzie sporo drobnych kamieni. Dość płytko ale fale mocne chwilami. Parkingi w pobliżu 5 euro/ postój

Stinky and polluted (in February). Maybe they polish it for summer season, but having smelled what they drain into the water off-season I would never touch the water here....
