Museo archeologico di Teanum Sidicinum

Addossato alle Mura Preromane della cittadina di Teano è il "Loggione", palazzo baronale del XIV sec. Nella sua parte inferiore, la cosiddetta "Cavallerizza" o scuderia del palazzo, è stato ricavato da alcuni anni il Museo Archeologico di Teanum Sidicinum.

Nel Museo sono esposti, in funzionali vetrine, i reperti provenienti dagli scavi effettuati nel centro antico e nel territorio di Teanum Sidicium, abitato da una popolazione italica di lingua osca.

I materiali in esposizione descrivono la storia del territorio dal Paleolitico agli inizi del Medio Evo tramite la ricca presenza di oggetti di uso comune trovati nei corredi funerari provenienti delle necropoli scavate nel territorio della antica Teanum Sidicinum, tra cui le località di Torricelle, Campofaio, Gradavola, Carrano, Orto Ceraso.
