A mini bus currently replaces it. The alternate walk up is much more rewarding...take your time to catch your breath whilst appreciating the changing view that reveals through twists and turns...a very rewarding trail.

Great way to get up to the top of Sacro Monte. Definitely open & only €1.60 per person one way. The small bus brings you through the tunnel from the bus stop (included in your bus ticket price from Varese) to the...

Indicazioni sull’accesso poco visibili o assenti. Per raggiungere il piazzale abbiamo dovuto chiedere a varie persone. Accesso difficile per disabili: un solo parcheggio per disabili sul piazzale, e due parcheggi per auto elettriche (inoccupati) una domenica mattina … ha senso? Dopo aver atteso 30 minuti il bus, questo ha dovuto sostare 20 minuti perché la barriera non si alzava… L’esperienza della funicolare è molto bella, peccato per l’accesso difficile che potrebbe...
