A great selection of sake and other Japanese liquors. Unfortunately there were no samples offered which made it difficult to invest in something we didnt know if we would like. Staff didnt seem very friendly towards tourist but were more than happy to talk to locals. The toilets were western...

As a wine enthusiast, I couldn't resist stopping by this shop when I drove past it. The Kyushu Shochu Kan is truly a paradise for us liquor lovers. They have a wide variety of styles and the prices are very appealing. If you enjoy drinking alcohol, it's definitely worth making a stop here...

Also the sales manager was really friendly and him explanation was good.So we bought many bottle of liquors_(:3」z)_ 焼酎のみならず、沖縄のラム酒やあまり見かけないリキュールも買うことができます。 店頭に立つ販売員のおじさまはとても面白くて、どのお酒も「1番なんだ！」と説明してくれます笑 どのお酒も蔵や工場から直接買い付けしていて、彼が良いと思う酒しか買わないと言っていました。 彼の営業に負けて焼酎とラム酒を購入。 彼に捕まったら手ぶらでは出れません笑

こちらへ来る前に湯の坪あたりのコンビニでお弁当を買って食べて、その後そこでトイレを貸してもらえず困っていました。次の目的地は別府ロープウェイ。外のトイレは使う気がせず、、、どうしよう、、、そしたら九州焼酎館なる建物が目に入りました！おお、そこでトイレを借りよう！きれいなトイレを使わせていただき、お礼にどっさりお土産を購入。焼酎の品ぞろえが大変多く、好きな人にはたまらない場所だと思います。私はお酒を飲まないのでラベルをみるだけでも面白かったです。焼酎以外の土産品も多数なのが良いですね。結局、空模様が良くなくてロープウェイは乗らなかったのだけど九州焼酎館に立ち寄れて良かったです。
