I can't believe this is a free experience (you need to reserve online in advance or check the dates for their open Saturday tours). It felt a little crowded in the museum with a full shuttle bus of 30 people for the tour. Otherwise it was enjoyable overall. The museum itself is next to the final assembly area within the Mazda production grounds so controlling the flow of people is important. I am thankful for the opportunity to come and see it for myself. Please arrive at least 15mins ahead of time as per the instructions.

For me this was a very big highlight as im a hardcore mazda enthusiast, I loved seeing the 787b and the rothmans fb rx7. I was a little surprised to see that there was no rx2 or rx3 on display as they are 2 massive cult classics. I wore a Hiroshima carps shirt and got alot of admiration from the staff as mazda is Hiroshima carps Baseball ⚾️ major sponsor, staff members also noticed my rotary tattoo and thought it was very cool. 🙏😌

It was good to see (it is free!), the guide was lovely and enthusiastic and we saw some cool stuff. The history was interesting (about twenty vehicles) but we only saw a tiny glimpse of any actual production as much of it was curtained off (not sure if this was temporary). The site is immense which is quite interesting in it self but you only view from the bus. You can leave bags and suitcases at the head office reception.
