If you're a mall rat, you might have higher standards, but as a kid growing up in a family whose past-time family event was going to the city mall, I'd say this place is legit.
They don't go all out on their ground floor events as much as some Indonesian malls do (I remember a Formula 1 Ferrari revving its engine during a mall event in Indonesia once... that was intense...) but they do try.
