Konzōji Temple (Otaki Fudō-son) — Local services in Funabashi

There is a natural spring here which is definitely worth seeing if you are in the vicinity. Besides this, the temple structures are impressive, and the surrounding environment is filled with trees, a large pond with turtles and birds, winding paths in the shade, and cool entrance gates.

門の奥は暗～い森、この神秘感が滝不動の持ち味です。 駐車場は本堂の側ですけど、この門から入ってこそ、ここの雰囲気を楽しめるというもの。

途中にある石像、首の部分で折れたのか。 これも不気味さを盛り上げてくれるオブジェですね。

途中にある池、他で見れば何でもない風景。 でもさっきの森を抜けてくると、この風景も微妙な恐怖感をもたらす要素なんです。

亀がこっちを向いて泳いでくるぞ。 餌を貰おうとしているだけなんでしょうけど、池に引き込まれそうな気がするな。

この石組みの向こう、海老川の水源があるんです。 古代の遺跡に足を踏み入れるような緊張を感じます。

これが水源、口からちょろちょろ水が出ているだけなんですけどね。

軽軽しく眺めていると、石の壁に挟まれたりして。 なんかこの場所、不思議な空間なんだよなぁ。

前回は工事中だった三重塔が今年の4月に完成。 工期9年という手間をかけて作ったものだそうですけど、もっと高い五重塔は一体何年かかるんだろう。

旧本堂の大師堂は200年前の建立。 このお寺の雰囲気にぴったり合った重厚感、小規模ながらも素晴らしい風格です。

本堂は一段高く、建物も大きくて立派なもの。 もう少し古くなると、この場所の雰囲気にマッチしてくるかな。
