The Bamboo Forest — Local services in Ichihara

Stayed at THE BAMBOO FOREST for a quick glamping trip and omg it was such a vibe. Super chill location surrounded by bamboo, but still easy to reach from Tokyo (huge win).

We booked the "Capybara" dome tent—massive inside, super clean, and had actual AC and fluffy beds (yes pls). Right next door is this wild little petting zoo where capybaras and even peacocks come right up to you. It’s a lively setting with lots to see and hear.

Dinner was next level—BBQ on the terrace, big portions, breezy, immaculate space for relaxing BBQ moments(10/10 fun and tasty). Bathrooms were private + stocked with all the essentials, which is a lifesaver if you don’t wanna pack a ton.

The real highlight? Sharing a peaceful breakfast with giraffes. Hand-feeding them while enjoying your breakfast—it’s an experience you won’t forget.

This is definitely one of the best glamping facilities I’ve stayed in. It’s so unique, well conceived and comfortable- I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this kind of activity! The adjacent Saiuri Land is such a fun add on for animal lovers who want to get up close and personal with a variety of wildlife- including feeding giraffes! The beds and tents are warm, cozy and comfortable and the occasional animal sounds just make it feel even more exotic. We had a lovely glamping experience here! The whole place has a nice, peaceful, and zen-like atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The tent we stayed in was clean and cozy, and it even came with some complimentary drinks in the fridge, which was a nice touch.Dinner was a BBQ set, which was delicious.
