The shrine holds an interesting Chochin Mairi with Ise Ondo style singing for its harvest festival. It is also a pretty, yet understated place for autumn leaves.

Very nice and quiet place for those looking for peace and quiet. Few minutes away from the Amami Station. The surrounding area is perfect for those fond of trekking.

神社へは旧道からは旧国道371島の谷交差点から入ります。バイパスからも行けますが神社周辺は道が狭く駐車場は見当たりません。神社のすぐ近く東側（写真①②でいうと線路の左側）にバイパスが通され、以前の静寂な雰囲気が現代化しました。googleマップには2018年の画像がまだありましたので更新される前に南海高野線俯瞰周辺写真添付しておきます。バイパスより神社へ通じる道から高野線俯瞰できますが駐車場はありません。すぐ近くには民家もあります。
