AEON MALL Kawaguchi Maekawa — Local services in Kawaguchi

Good - we spent most time in the Seria 100Y shop - only bought about 5 things - watch the tiny kids scurrying about looking for small treasures.

We found a wider range of thermos/zojirushi than Tokyu Hands in the AEON store, and the Uniqlo also had shirts I liked and hadn't seen elsewhere.

Lunch at the food court - long queue for the Udon - we had ramen and cold Korean noodles.

Lots of happy families with kids on a Monday.

And the fancy perk-to-order Kurashiki cafe had the only bitter/sweet/sour/scent/rich flavour pentagram selection charts I've seen in a cafe menu !

P.S. I was the only Westerner I saw there all day.

And Warabi train station has a bus to the front door - better than the station south of it where you have to walk further and it's easy to miss the...

Great mall, but not close to any train station. Many big name stores, such as Zara, UNIQLO, GAP, Sports Authority, etc. Has quite a few places for children to play. Decently sized food court and many restaurants on the ground floor. There is also a large AEON supermarket and department store. Definitely pay a visit if you live in the...

蕨市駅東～川口市芝・前川エリアの地元民御用達の大型ショッピングモール。

付近の大規模モール(浦和美園、北戸田、川口アリオ、など)に比べると、館内のテナント配置や間取りに、若干の古さ(平成10年頃の香り)を感じるが、3Fのゲームコーナーは、中・高～大人向けの区画が１つ(子供も遊んでいますが)、幼児～中学生向けが１つ、有料の未就学児向けのアトラクションブースが１つ、と、かなり子供が遊べる区画が多いです。

1Fの南側フロアにある、吹き抜けの館内広場では、しばしばイベントや企画が催されています。

クリスピークリームドーナツ、サーティワンアイスクリーム、スタバ、サンマルクカフェ、フードコート、焼肉店、回転寿司、各種ごはん処のチェーン店など、飲食スペースはふんだんにありますが、休日の昼時は激混み。

特に焼肉屋やスタバはご多分に漏れず、かなり並びが出ます。

このモールの特徴として、特筆すべきなのは、衣料品を扱う幾らかの店舗で、30～60%程度の割引が比較的たくさん見られることです。

ナイキやアディダスなどの名だたるブランドだと、取扱店がスポーツオーソリティになったりするので、デザインや質が良い品は、なかなか値引かれないと思いますが、例えば、かなり生地の良いパーカーが 12,000円 → 6,000円 になっていたりするので、ディスカウントされた好みの品を、アウトレットに探しに行く感じで訪れるのもアリかもしれません。

ヴィレッジヴァンガードや、ファンシー・キュート系グッズの店なども比較的入っています。
