I'm visiting BookOff's Super Bazaars every time when there is a chance, as this is for us a great source of many different merchandise to bring back from Japan: starting from cook books, through ceramic and other dishes, through kitchen utensils, through traditional and modern clothes and other fashion items, bags, to anime figurines and other anime gadgets, with many random objects in between. Usually those shops are quite big offering a lot of space to browse through. Some are better stocked, some worse. It really is hard to guess which one will fall into which category. This one is both big and really good on the stock side, both the amount and the variety. And is not that hard to reach from Tokyo main stations. Read moreThe best Bookoff store by far! This is my 3rd time in Japan and I have been to MANY Book/home/hobby/hard/tool off, etc all over, far and close to the big cities. This one was a way bigger than any other one I've been to. It had surf stuff, camping, musical instruments, bikes, vases, furniture, decorations, dishes, baby stuff, clothes, shoes - you name it, they have it. The store looked clean and organized. It had a parking right in front. Close to a train station. We spent 3h there and had so much fun looking at all the crap they have. Would recommend it...
