霧島神宮の奥、山道を進んだ先にある静かな社。 かつては霧島六所権現の一つとされ、霧島山の神々を祀る古社です。 ーーーーーーーーーー 横道から少し山の方へ歩いて訪れる場所。 知ってる人にはかなりパワースポットして扱われている場所のようでした。

（古社は山頂にて噴火により消失しているようなので）元宮という扱いではないようですが、割符のようなお守りがどこか宗像大社の古社を思わせました。

この場所の神聖やパワーなどは分かりませんが、霧島神宮にてたくさんの参拝者の列をみて心折れ参拝を諦めた人間にとっては、人が少な...

霧島神宮から少し山を登る感じになります。 角を曲がると水の音がするので排水溝見ると山からの水が流れてるのでしゃがんで触ると冷たい（水道より）です。 霧が掛かって神秘的（9月の12時くらい）と思ったら、温泉のお湯が排水溝に流れて手を当てると少し熱いので、タオルに浸して帰る時に軽く身体を拭かせて貰いました。 境内は質素？簡素？な感じなので、昔はこういう感じで祀られてたのかと考えながら参拝してると、ダース・ベイダーみたいな呼吸音がするので、龍神様？？と近付くと水を...

[一人旅 日本制霸篇]山神社 - 很多人忽略了的地方 由於不少參拜客也是跟旅行團到來(不少是說中文的)，不少人在拜殿拜拜後便以為完結，幸好筆者這次時間充足，進行了較深入攻略。 首先是拜殿右方不遠處仍有一座神楽殿(2005年建成)，在此拜拜能夠得到家内安全、交通安全、厄祓祈願等效果；另一個不得不提的霧島神宮拜殿左面有一個「山神社」(約5分鐘步程)，是只有當地人知道的地方，除了是充滿靈氣的森林小路外，沿路的水道更流著冒煙溫泉水，這些大自然氣息會令感覺在別的世界，所以當地人一般在參拜了霧島神宮後再來參拜山神社，才算是完滿。(看了冒煙的溫泉水，如果能留宿一晚浸溫泉便完美了)
