Noevir Stadium Kobe — Local services in Kobe

We went to see the match between Vissel Kobe and Kashiwa at the Kobe stadium, and it was a great experience. Getting there was easy—just a short ride on public transport followed by a 10-minute walk from the last metro station.

Buying tickets was also super simple, even as a foreigner. Just search for “Kobe tickets” online and you’ll quickly find the official website. The whole process was very accessible and straightforward.

The stadium itself had everything you need. Entry was smooth with no heavy checks, food options were good, and we loved the funny detail of staff walking around the stands serving draft beer. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making it an experience we’d definitely recommend.

We went to see the Kobe Steelers here on 24th December. We tried to get some food before taking our seats but the queues were enormous. We went after about 10 minutes of the game and most food was sold out. At half time we went to get something to eat and found the food stall nearest to our seat was closed as were the male and female toilets. The queues for the male toilets that were open were horrendous, very very long. We gave up and I had to leave the stadium and go to the toilet in the car park resulting in missing the first 10 minutes of the second half. We were sitting in the Back stand block 116. So surprised at how poor the facilities were...

It’s a fantastic football stadium but the one thing that lets it down is the in stadium shops. It’s impossible to buy a drink at half time because of the long queues for the shop. We waited but had to go back because the match was restarting. Other J.League stadiums seem to cope much better.

Also it is inconvenient to buy things at the shops because only Rakuten payment methods are advertised. I visited several times before I realized that they took normal VISA. I usually shop at the nearby Lawson because they take all popular payment...
