Beautiful view point and walking trail surrounding in general. The northern trail to Myojin bridge is longer than the southern trail because of the additional distance to walk through this marsh area but definitely worth the extra distance. 【2年目の上高地】 昨年参りました河童橋の先へ、１年かけて700メートル進みました。本当に美しい森です。だけさわ、と読むようです。クマが出たようです。（サルには遊歩道にて普通に遭遇しました。）また9月ですが、水は切るように冷たいです。

【追伸】9月27日クマが出て、観光客が重傷のようです。 「松本市の上高地で27日午後、韓国籍の男性がクマに襲われけがをしました。 松本警察署によりますと、27日午後0時半過ぎ、松本市安曇の上高地で、韓国籍の男性　ナル・ヤンさん39歳がクマ1頭に襲われました。 消防と警察によりますと、ヤンさんは頭と右手を切る大けがをして病院に搬送されましたが、意識はあり　歩ける状態だっということです。 現場は、河童橋から北におよそ200メートルの遊歩道付近で、警察によりますと、ヤンさんは1人で観光していたところ、クマに襲われたとみられています。 クマの行方はわかっていません。 熊は体長70センチほどの成獣とみられ、警察が看板などで注意を呼びかけています。」 出所：信越放送　9/27(水) 15:26配信
