Hagerstrom Pool — Local services in Okinawa

Nice, large pool. Seems to be pretty well maintained. It was nice they had an inflatable obstacle course on one end of the pool with plenty of room for swimming on the other.

One suggestion: get more chairs and umbrellas. There were maybe 15 chairs and 2 umbrellas to use.

One complaint: There are an unnecessary amount of silly rules. Safety is important however, treating adults like children is not necessary. I saw multiple adults getting a whistle blown at them and being told they couldn't have their children on their shoulders. Unbelievably, I also saw lifeguards blowing whistles at people and telling them how to throw their children in the water (while already in the water). Let everyone just...

This place has one big pool that's separated into three sections (deep end, lap swim, and shallow end) and there is also a splash pad. They also have slides but they are currently broken. One thing to note is that they do have a swim break every hour for 10 min which is a little too frequent in my opinion and the pool isn't open on Tuesdays...
