The kids and I finally explored Mission Beach July 2020. It was 300 yen to park and 300 for me as an adult, my young kids 4 & under were free. It was a secluded beach and going on a weekday afternoon there weren't many people. The announcement came on at 6pm telling us that swimming was over for the day.. I know the sign said they were open until 6:30pm. I used my shade tent, but I did see that they have lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent on the beach. There are picnic tables under tall shaded trees on the grass area available for use. I was told there were showers and changing rooms included and that there is no snorkeling but a mask was okay. I was confused with the snorkeling information. I should the mission beach worker my full-face snorkeling mask and he said that was okay. I was able to use my wagon to roll around all my stuff, they have a hill from the parking lot to the beach area. The kids love the swing and we're great for pictures. Also, I was told to stay with the kids if they go into the water and to watch them in the water, there are signs...

This is a really nice somewhat sandy, clean little beach. There’s food, rentals chairs and tents , shower, toilet, rental life jackets etc. We paid ¥1,500 for 2 kids ages 8 & 12, and 2 adults and used our own tent. There’s no net just a rope to tell you not to go pass that. It’s deeper than most beaches we’ve been to so we rented a life jacket for ¥500 for our 8 year old. There’s tons of fish!!!!!! Overall nice snorkeling spot and for swimming. I think it’s also pet friendly, we saw a golden retriever and a small dog at the beach swimming with their owners. Although we had to pay the entrance fee, we’d go back and recommend it to...

Mission Beach was a nice spot to relax. We paid a few euros to park our car, and then enjoyed a peaceful time on the beach. The facilities were basic but clean, and free to use. You could also order some simple food and drinks — nothing fancy, but good enough. The beach looked nice, and the people managing it were friendly and welcoming. A pleasant place to spend some time.
