Aeon Mall Saku presents itself as a modern shopping destination, yet its approach to customer service and policies regarding pets leaves much to be desired. On a recent visit, it was assumed that provided a pet remained securely enclosed in a fully covered stroller, wore a diaper, and did not come into direct contact with the premises, access to the mall would be permissible. However, this assumption proved incorrect.

After browsing the mall for some time, a stop was made at a pet shop to purchase supplies. Upon completing the transaction and preparing to leave, a staff member abruptly intervened, addressing the matter in a manner that was neither courteous nor professional. Given the language barrier, an attempt was made to politely request clarification in English, yet this was met with visible impatience. Rather than offering any assistance or making an effort to bridge the communication gap, the staff member persisted in speaking only in Japanese, raising her voice in frustration.

Although it eventually became clear that pets were not allowed within the mall, the manner in which this information was conveyed was wholly unnecessary. Despite adhering to reasonable hygiene and containment measures, no alternative solutions were offered, and the entire exchange lacked any semblance of customer service. As a result, an inconvenient and prolonged detour was required to exit the building and return to the rooftop car park in unfavourable weather conditions.

While Aeon Mall Saku may offer a diverse retail selection, its handling of such situations highlights a significant lack of consideration for visitors with pets. The experience was both disappointing and avoidable, had the staff approached the matter with greater professionalism and a willingness to assist. 日用品、食料品、ファッション、書店、100円ショップ、フードコート、ゲームセンター他充実してますよ。ゲームセンターと100円ショップを良く利用します。ゲームセンターはお菓子も多くスタッフの方の対応も良く遊べますよ。休日は100円ショップの会計は長蛇の列ですが、、
