Shuurakuen is a large beautiful park just a little south of Nagoya city in Tokaishi. It is easily accessible by train, car or bicycle. It has stunning fiery foliage in fall and lots of cherry blossoms in spring, these are juxtaposed by a background of a awe-inspiring Buddha statue of gargantuan proportions. There are extensive grounds with room for picnics, exploring, jogging, hiking, and lots of playground equipment for the younger folks. There’s a cafe and tearoom and something for everyone. It’s...

Tried our luck coming to this place to see something else beside Castle. Quite a big Budha Statue with no difficulties reached by stairs. The park is well maintained, in fact some group of people were working while we got there. They trimmed the grass, and made the place clean. That's why we love this country. Every people is so respectful in term of cleaning and hygine. There's a dam, small man made pond and...

It's a nice place to spend the evening. Weekend is little crowded. As I saw, camping is also allowed inside the park area. There is also a temple with famous "Shurakuen Buddha" statue . A seperate area is also available for...

Tried our luck coming to this place to see something else beside Castle. Quite a big Budha Statue with no difficulties reached by stairs. The park is well maintained, in fact some group of people were working while we got there. They trimmed the grass, and made the place clean. That's why we love this country. Every people is so respectful in term of cleaning and hygine. There's a dam, small man made pond and kid's playground.

Tùy theo giờ tàu chạy mà sẽ có tàu thường hay tàu nhanh, nhưng cả 2 đều dừng ở ga Shurakuen nên các bạn yên tâm. Phương tiện di chuyển tiết kiệm và có thể ngắm cảnh ở Nagoya là tàu điện, nếu đi bằng taxi thì tới 17 km tốn rất nhiều tiền mà thời gian thì chỉ có nhanh hơn một chút.
