Hojo oike (pond) and park is a beautiful stunning place, especially for Sakura hanami. Great views to tsukuba-san and hokyo-san (a hiking trail runs to hokyo-san from here as well). On a good day, one can see yama sakura on the mountains from the oike-park! There are toilets as well as roofed areas for shelter in case of rain. Hirasawa government building ruins are near by. Overall, a great area to picnic...

A great place during the cherry blossom season. It is locally quite famous among photographers. Around the artificial pond, a few hundreds of cherry trees blossom by the end of march. Not very far, there's a lawn, perfect to enjoy a simple picnic with your family. There's also an information center...

Beautiful place to see Sakura. Playing areas for children are also there. No real rush. Car park is also available. Recommends for Sakura seeing and walking. With the lake view,...
