Small station but staff was nice. Always Japanese customer service is the best one. There kind of train painting matching for Beach side. For the kids you should get that train experience....

綺麗な銀杏を見に行きましたが 鯛電車が丁度居て、銀杏と一緒に写真撮りました。 赤の鯛電車も見たいです。

南海電鉄加太線の終点、加太駅です。 加太線は「加太さかな線」という愛称が付けられ、鯛の模様を施し、魚や海をモチーフにしたかわいい内装のペイント列車「めでたいでんしゃ」を運行しています。 めでたいでんしゃは4種類あって、ピンク色が「さち」、水色が「かい」、赤色が「なな」、黒色が「かしら」とそれぞれ名付けられています。 また、駅では“めでたいでんしゃ”にちなんだ掲示物などがたくさん飾られ、グッズも販売されています。 お約束の「顔はめパネル」もしっかりと設置されていました。 今回はバイクでの訪問だったため、入場券を購入してホームで「かしら」の見物と写真撮影を行いましたが、私の他にも電車の写真を撮影されている方が何人かおられて、その人気の高さがうかがえました。 駅からは少し歩かないといけませんが、加太漁港や加太海水浴場、淡嶋神社、明治時代に作られた砲台跡など、周辺には結構見どころが点在しています。 また、淡路島との間にうかぶ、こちらも砲台などの要塞の後が多く残る友ヶ島へ渡る連絡船のりばもこちらの加太駅が最寄りです。
