Driving down the highway through a dilapidated looking coastal village disguised the absolute gem that is Sereno. As you approach past a tatty garden from the house across the road, expectations, like the rest of the town, as set low. But then you walk through the curtains to the most refined, stylish restaurant with limited seating and exceptional decor. The staff are so friendly, helpful and pleasant. The food is well priced, immaculately presented and delicious. The sashimi is fantasticly fresh, probably caught that day, as are the vegetables, which tasted as though they were harvested in the morning.
