This property was a deeply disappointing experience. The host demonstrated a complete lack of hospitality. Upon arrival, multiple attempts to contact him via phone were met with disconnected calls. When he finally answered, he was unhelpful and disconnected again instead of assisting with check-in. Furthermore, the breakfast provided was inadequate and of poor quality. For a group of four, we were given a meager serving of four small bread slices and a few cucumber pieces. Our request for more bread was ignored, leaving us waiting for thirty minutes with no resolution. We ultimately left the property feeling extremely annoyed. I strongly advise against staying here.

Disliked · Our stay in this apartment was significantly disappointing. The sofa bed provided was undersized and unsuitable for two adults to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was extremely small and cramped. Additionally, the doors within the apartment were not functioning properly. Overall, the property was unsatisfactory. We had such an unforgettable stay at A_Frame Kolsai! Huge thanks to the amazing owner who went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. He personally picked us up from Almaty and even drove us to the stunning Charyn Canyon, Black Canyon, and Kolsay Lake. He also recommended a fantastic local restaurant where we had one of the best meals in Kazakhstan!

Every request we made was warmly accommodated by the owner himself his hospitality was on another level. On our second day, we visited the magical Kaindy Lake and had a fun and scenic horse ride. It was such a great experience exploring nature while feeling completely safe, guided, and cared for.

Thank you again for your kindness, generosity, and for treating us not just as guests, but as friends. We will definitely come back and highly recommend A_Frame Kolsai to anyone looking for a meaningful and comfortable escape...

A peaceful nature retreat at A-Frame Kolsay.

We stayed in one of the A-shaped chalets at A-Frame Kolsay and had a wonderful experience. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains and nature in every direction.

The chalet itself had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

What made our stay even more special was the hospitality of the owner. He was incredibly accommodating, picking us up from the city and personally taking us to nearby tourist spots like the Charyn Canyon, Kolsay Lake, and Kaindy Lake.
