Naivas is currently the leading supermarket in Naivasha town, the revamped kubwa branch now has more space and goods are well displayed making it easier to find commodities as you walk through the aisle. One more thing that has made this store convenient is the presence of their new liquor segment which features competitive prices of wide variety of alcoholic beverages. The downside of this branch is the lack of convenient ample parking and at times you are forced to park few metres away from the store this pushing of trolleys from the store to the parking can be quite hard.    Read moreThis Naivas is far bigger than one would expect given its location in downtown Naivasha, i.e. small backstreet in a small town.
It's quite well stocked, however, if you're driving, be advised that parking can be a challenge - there are about 10 slots in front of the supermarket and about 25 slots in a private parking space across the road. There are no special provisions for moving around with a heavy shopping trolley, so if you park across the road, you'll struggle.
PS: Their M-PESA till simply says "Naivas Kubwa", which makes me wonder if this was the original Naivas (Naivasha...

U will realise once u are out. Always selling oversalted pilau that is mostly stale and garnished with stale meat bones, "not meat". They will shamelessly make stew from rotten berg n sell. Oooh, the butchery is always stocked with stale meat that has been lased with some chemicals to look strangely red. In short, shop for everything in naivas but not ready food or meat unless its processed such...
