Jikoniz Grill Nyama choma — Restaurant in Viwandani ward

We were passing through Naivasha and looking for lunch and bumped into this gem.

The chicken kienyeji dry fry is the best, my friend also enjoyed the goat. You pick your own chicken and its slaughtered and you 'pimisha' and choose your own goat cut at the butchery. All very fresh and in a clean and very well organized kitchen area.

Takes a while for the food to be ready, but servers are honest and very upfront about that, and you can take drinks while you wait. The food is absolutely worth the wait, the place is unpretentious and the service great. Maybe it's because we went during the day, but to me this is what good service, efficiency, good food and dining should be about.

Would go back again and again both to eat out and on my way to Naivasha or...

Great place to chill and really good food... Had the best kuku choma meal. Really need to work on customer service. Some group of "important men" came in and our experience went downhill from there. They switched off music from our side coz the men needed to have a 'meeting'. As if that is not laughable.. they started rearranging our side of the bar to suit the men's liking. We did not mind all this. They were probably paying top dollar, we thought. Finally a lady came and politely asked us if she could take our table to give to them... As she added "sio kwa ubaya". We had had it by that time and I did not mince my NO. I really hope that doesn't happen often coz we actually liked the place but we will not...

The Jikoniz Grill Nyama Choma, is a classy lounge, well situated and located In Naivasha Town, off Kenyatta Avenue. It is just by the road, and so, very easy to locate. It parades a beautiful array and collection of local and exquisite drinks, from soft drinks, to beer, wine, brandy, whiskey, and indeed, various kinds of spirit liquor. It has a nice grill, to meet your protein needs. The service is top notch, from entrance to sitting arrangement. The ambience is great. The lounge is good for day time and for night crawlers.
