We apologise beforehand if we sound so negative...
We used to enjoy this place and often frequented it as it is near our go-to massage parlour.
We went there again recently for dinner and some light shopping.
The goods sold were cheap but quality wise most of the goods really cannot make it. We are not talking about manufacture defects but poor maintenance of the goods sold such as musky smell from the clothes some peeling on the goods, thick layer of dust on the packaging and etc.
We were hoping the food would make our trip there worthwhile but were disappointed. Hard touting happening here. As soon as we arrived, the hawkers were quick to get us a place to sit before flooding our table with a barrage of menus.
We are not sure where they learned this selling technique from. It was really off putting and did not benefit us nor them. We were surrounded by different hawkers and felt pressured. We could hardly look at the pile of menus stacked in front of us. It looked like a pile of paperwork that we definitely did not want to browse. We ended up ordering the satay and cendol. Had to wait very very long and both dishes were not worth the wait.
We love cats, but we think the cats here learned from the hawkers and were quick to surround us too. One cat made its home in our pram and slept in there. Two other cats were trying to eat our food. They jumped on the chairs and had their paws on our table.
We cut our trip short and left as soon as we could. If we weren't travelling with kids and elderly, we might have a different perspective of the place but since we were travelling as a family it was very difficult for us to ensure the comfort of our loved ones while enjoying ourselves there.
P.S The one star in this review goes out to one of the touters who came to our table. Eventhough we didn't order food from him, he went the extra mile to get a highchair for our toddler. It was definitely an extra mile as there were no high chairs in sight when...
Read moreComparing my visits experience since 2008 to this place, the management is lacking of focusing on cleanliness aspect and need to double their efforts to improve it. After 12 years, still this is major issue there. To be honest, it's a bit disgusting to eat at food courts because it smells a little unpleasant. The available surau facilities need to be upgraded. The food and beverage business that has been monopolized by the Pakistani's may result in poor quality of service and taste in favor of profit. In terms of taste, the food here is normal and nothing can be said to be the...

The place was bustling with people, which made it quite overwhelming and hard to move around comfortably.
Pricey Durians 💸
I was a bit shocked at the price: RM 170 for just 2 durians. Definitely not cheap, especially if you're expecting wholesale prices. However, the durians were fresh and tasty.
Lack of Wholesale Appeal 🤷♂️
Despite the name, there wasn't anything particularly interesting or special about the wholesale items.
Overall, if you're looking for a unique wholesale experience or great deals, this might not be the...
