Maldivian Seaplane Terminal — Local services in Malé

Basically a terminal building dedicated only for resort transfer and where all seaplanes depart.

This is the busiest seaplane terminal in the world and basically you’re taken there by your resort representatives which will pick you so at velana international airport (main airport at male) and then depending on your resort thrown at the resort lounge until your departure time where you’ll be guided on foot all the way to the plane.

Fantastic Trip with the Seaplane We arrived in Malé airport and had to take a seaplane to Filitheyo this was a great & epic experience. We really enjoyed seeing all the islands from above but also seeing the pilot barefoot flying those planes. The experience was amazing as when we arrived we had to be left at sea on a small platform and then a small boat took us to the island. This is once in a lifetime experience and I recommend it to all highly! Fantastic & amazing service from all the staff from the stewardess...
