To call it a 'jewellery shop' does not do it justice. The work that Mario and his student do is outstanding.

The workshop is inside the shop, where you can see them making beautiful Filigree jewellery out of sterling sliver thread before your eyes. The pieces on sale range from earrings, beautiful necklaces, to ornaments, all crafted in the traditional manner. There's also your more commonly known jewellery, in gold, silver, white gold etc.

Our experience visiting was amazing, a warm welcome from the staff who were more than happy to help us at the most leisurely pace, without being at all pushy in the slightest.

We bought two pieces which are outstanding, and considering they are manufactured by one person with 40 years or experience (plus a student), everything in the shop is more than reasonably priced, especially when you take in to account the intricacies of the craft.

Well worth a drive, taxi or bus trip if you find yourself in Malta.

This shop is definitely worth a visit. We bought 4 necklaces which are so beautiful and handmade. We spoke to all the people in there and they were just so wonderful and welcoming. The gentleman was showing us how he makes the pieces and talked to us about the village. They made the experience as they were so helpful and the prices were extremely reasonable for the fantastic pieces you were buying. If we would have had time to go back,I would have done just to buy more from them and support...
