It's OK but the Maltese just can't get organised to save their life. I got there with 10 minutes to spare after buying my tickets. Queued for popcorn but the machine was empty. She told me 5 minutes, and the movie starts 7 minutes after the official time. The machine took longer, another customer was given popcorn first, so I had a long wait. The chap behind said there were trailers, so OK. I sent my son up, to the top floor, then they said they would bring it to me. I went up, they were totally incorrect, I'd missed loads. Then after 25 minutes no popcorn, so I went all the way down. You will never get an apology, just an argument about her not been able to leave. There were plenty others. Very very irritating and poorly run. Just rude in my opinion, but they would rather spoil the enjoyment of their customers than have to waste popcorn by putting the machine on earlier. The prices other than the 3D movies are pretty good, with...
Read moreA nice and quiet cinema with all the latest mainstream movies, You'll definitely get a great seat. I went with my gf to watch Thor:Ragnarok and I really enjoyed the experience. To our surprise, there was an intermission, which my gf desperately needed then we stretched a bit. We made it back just in time, there was no indication outside the room that the movie would be starting, but we where told the break takes 5 minutes.
As for snacks there's your classic popcorn and soft drinks. For the candylovers there is a huge selection for you to choose out from, make your own candypack!
The movie quality was good, no complaints there. They provided the regular plastic 3D glasses, they worked fine. Audio was also good, nothing spectacular, there is surround sound.
Nice place to go for a quiet movie experience, without a bunch of people or lines. Great for...
Read moreWe went to the cinama in baggiba, malta. What a great place to visit to watch a film. Its €6.00 euros for a film. And €8.00 euros fore 3D. So cheap. Take note british cinamas. The cinama has 8 screens and there all the same size. If your in baggiba the find the place. And go in the week. As its not full. but weekends tend to get very crowded. The staff are very good as was the manager. She was shoked whe we told her how much it cost to see film on england. Am looking forward to going back in may 2 020. If theres some good films on. They put prices up from may 2019 to oct 2019 by 1 euro each. So not to bad. Shame was not there in december 2019. Could have saved a fortune. Saw star wars at odeon southend. What a rip of. Charged us £32.99 for 2 tickets in morning. If had seen in malta eould have been €14.00euros for us both. Look forward...
