Île aux Cerfs island also known as deer island is located in the East of Mauritius, it is lies off Trou d’Eau Douce in the largest lagoon of Mauritius and offers picturesque surroundings in a “chic and wild” setting for a breathtaking experience of natural beauty. It also offers 87-100 hectares of lush vegetation, preserved white sandy beaches, home to a golf club/course,  a five star hotel and three beach restaurants.

You can get to the island from the mainland by speed boat, catamaran or a yacht. We got to this beautiful masterpiece via speed boat, we cruised for over 30mins taking in the beauty of the sea, palm trees, private mansions, mini island, lush vegetation and the meeting point in the ocean (where the blue and green sea meet but doesn’t mix, it is a wonder to behold). Nature heals! This is the perfect site for photo-shoot! The pictures are breathtaking.

This island offers varieties of water sport activities, like snorkeling, sailing, swimming, skiing, glass bottom boat rides, cruising etc. This is one of the most popular tourist destination. I guarantee you a day of relaxation, life of chill, la vida rico and fun.

I had huge fun taking a walk on the beach, striking poses for the camera, watching others have fun, gisting with other tourist, enjoying every bit of nature while getting tanned!

Sun, sea and beach. Those who go to Ile Aux Cerfs for that will discover paradise. Other than that, the island actually offers nothing. There are only a few activities: para-sailing, to the coral for snorkeling and being pulled behind a small motorboat on a rubber raft. But you have to pay extra for that. And the prices are high. For example: up and down to a snorkeling spot to snorkel there for an hour: 1,000Mr per person. Parasailing involves an activity of a good 6 minutes. Fun for enthusiasts. But in the price-quality ratio actually too crazy for words. Sun loungers, snacks and drinks are also not cheap. A simple burger: 575Mr. Very positive: with the company 'Le Dauphin' the combination outward and return trip and BBQ-lunch. We paid 1800Mr per person. Visitted this place in October 2021 first tourists since covid very quiet this time of year literally had the beach to our selves if you take the jetty accross it will cost you 450 rupees pp Includes a welcome drink (juice not fresh) My partner has to be careful with fruit so they kindly offered us a soft drink replacement) sun lounger and return trip at the end of the day. This is the cheapest package you can take even if you don't wish to use the lounge chairs, or welcome drink) The lagoons are very nice near the entrance of when you get off the jetty and sandy and extremely calm water happily take children there to swim.
