We went on the Todos Santos tour that was supposed to highlight a visit to the original Hotel California. Not only was Antonio, the driver, more than 45 minutes late after making us get up at 4am in the morning, the entire tour was so convoluted that we forgot why we were even on the tour van. We first stopped at Balandra beach, which was a beautiful beach but had absolutely no facilities there. We were told that we had to stay there for 2 hours. We were not told to bring swimming attire which made the entire stop a complete boredom. Next we stopped at La Paz, which was a beautiful beach that we only got to spend less than an hour touring. Then we had lunch at a very good restaurant and were forced to tour a jewelry store that no one was interested in buying any products from. By the time we arrived at the Hotel California it was closing. The ride back to Cabo San Lucas was very stressfull. The driver was driving at least 100 kilometers per hour and flashing every oncoming vehicle that he thought had their bright lights on, which most of them didn't. The entire time he was on his cell phone with his family and driving very erratically. He decided to drop off the first people he had picked up first which was absurd. He also pulled off of the highway to urinate at one point during the return trip, which was totally unprofessional. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I met some nice people on the van and I am sure they...
Read moreWas super skeptical at first but the sales guy, Jose, was v professional and gave us a great rate of $185 which was competitive to the online booking prices of $200-$300. You might be able to comp shop around the marina some more but for my groupâs purposes, this was a good fit for us.
Our trip was a total of around 8 hours. That includes pickup at 9:45 am, RT transport between Cabo and La Paz, lunch and beverages, a guide, private AC van for my group of 4, snorkel gear, bathroom breaks, boat ride out to the spot, snorkel for somewhere between 30â60 min prob, and we were back for a nice proper dinner. If you rented a car, you can definitely drive yourself if you think itâs worth the drive. Just make sure you get a lower rate since you are not needing transport.
Our driver was professional and prompt. Our snorkel guide, Gabby, was informative and fun! The water was somewhat murky this day but boy are those whale sharks huge and plentiful. We even spotted one or two giant manta rays. An incredible experience. This was my groupâs first time doing this and it was my 2nd time. My first time in The Philippines the water was super clear and the whale sharks were smaller. Donât forget to tip your driver and...
Read moreAVOID them at all costs.I paid a deposit for the whale shark snorkelling tour & they were supposed to pick me up on 2 separate occasions (because they didn't show up on the first day OR the 2nd day). The owner refused to refund my deposit & said that I could go on another day & IF the driver didn't show up,she would personally collect me & make sure that I got on the bus to join the trip.Luvis had already wasted 2 precious days of my holiday & as the final day that they could do the whale shark tour was also the day before I was due to leave Mexico,I felt that due to their total unreliability,I had no choice but to book a whale shark snorkelling tour with another company (rather than having to leave Mexico without having done the once in a lifetime trip).Luvis tours got to keep my deposit & offered no apology & all I can say is AVOID them like the plague! I'd suggest that you also read some of their(awful) reviews on Trip advisor & you'll see that they've ripped off other people who've had horrendous experiences with them.A truly awful company who shouldn't be allowed to operate & waste peoples time & ruin...
