Cenaduria Mary Chuy LA JOYA — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

As a Canadian with no experience in authentic Mexican food, I felt very lucky to have a local take us here for dinner. The food was incredible. I've been trying many places in Cabo looking for authentic Mexican food, but this is the first one I felt was truly authentic. The pork leg was amazing, and they used the drippings(scraping perhaps) from the bottom of the pan on the tortillas. I'm doing a poor job explaining it, but it's a delicious addition to the dish. My Spanish is terrible but the waiters were patient and friendly with us. Thankfully we had our local friend to translate when necessary. The service was a little slow, but I've been told this is common here and the place was very busy. As for the prices, I'm a tall guy and I stuffed myself for about 180 pesos.
