The design of the place is breathtaking and the artists deserve an applause for what has been accomplished here. That said, the mismanagement of the place is astonishing. We had trouble at the entrance because 5 people had no change in either currency and didnât think of suggesting card payment. The place is designed for contemplation and meditation but the speakers the staff used are super loud and irritating. Despite the heat you are constantly advised to keep layers and mask on. At the exit they separate your bag from your shoes, which is illogical and creates further stress as you have to go up to look for your bag. The pools with hammocks you are not allowed to use. You are constantly policed. Despite the moderate fee of 20$ for looking at great architectural design (this is not a gallery nor a museum, really but rather a tourist gimmick with taste), I believe the place could do better. I would not recommend to anyone, ever. I feel sorry for the creatives that made this project with great intention and wish they improve. As I write this I am waiting since my friend is locked into the museum and not allowed to leave alone. I was going to have a 200$ standard meal here but I lost my appetite.I have been waiting at the table to be served for...
Read moreDear magic creators! Thank you so much for the experience. Breathtaking place, big recommendations to see it, to feel it. BUT! We had also very strange experience in a restaurant..we paid for the whole experience (1000$ pesos per person) with a food included. The place..I have no words to describe, from another world. Mesmerizing. But I think we received Pizza Margherita for 500$pesos (yes 500pesos:)) which was..frozen! Guys. I mean. You created a fairytale. And you are giving to people really nice experience. But what about other experiences..? This morning I woke up and my first mind was that frozen pizza in such a magical place! I understand, it is not a high season and it is risky for kitchens to work properly. But that pizza, in such a place - are like two different worlds. I have so strange and uncomfortable feeling in my chest. Please, respect people who are coming to visit you, guys. That beautifully printed menu on a posh paper..it looks like it is only an illusion. My husband is still walking with a gurgling stomach. Kid was really happy. And I am still so confused. Very strange experience, would recommend to order salad maybe..or come after nice dinner. Azulik, dear, please, do not destroy really high vibration with such...
Read moreWas slightly challenging to rate. But Iâll try to break this down for you.
Road/getting here: An absolute nightmare. Believe me, we are talking about all natural, pot holes after pot holes. Want to wreck suspensions? This is the place to go! Of course most people that REALLY want to come here would probably say itâs still worth it. But I find it subjective. First world problems I guess.. call me spoiled.
The gallery: okay if we take out the part of âgetting thereâ. Itâs actually not bad. Admission is $20 USD a person -FYI. Itâs incredibly artistic, the way the building and structure is built will without a doubt make you Wow. Itâs definitely one of those âinstagramâ worthy places where you will find everyone posting about.
Restaurant: itâs okay, very pricey.
Verdict: I mean.. depending where you are coming from. If youâre driving an hour and a half from cancun to JUST this location.. the road to get there is so off putting. Probably not that worth it considering the cost of your commute etc. maybe plan to visit all the Cenotes along the way. Just think, for the price you are paying for the food here/ admissions etc , the least they can do it make their entrance more welcoming. Felt more like the boonies than anything. Very...
