I'd really like to leave the best, most grateful review for using the car rental service from Benita and Heine. Here I would definitely like to note the extremely humane and loyal attitude towards guests and tourists in our person, because for us this was absolutely the first experience in Namibia and the first experience of traveling in a camper van, but the guys simply enveloped us with some incredible care, sent a transfer to the airport for us, although we rented a car for only 5 days, but nevertheless, the guys sent a transfer to the airport, met us, helped with everything, buy SIM cards, change money, arrived, took us to the rental company in Bushbundu, where we were met by Benita and Heine, who simply incredible welcomed us, very warmly, warmed us with delicious coffee and conducted simply the most wonderful instructions in which they told absolutely every detail, how the camper van works, how to drive it, how to survive in it, how to cross the desert in it, how to drive off-road, in general, everything that a person who has never done this before needs to know and explained in great detail, Heine is simply an excellent instructor on how to drive this car. I'd also like to acknowledge the thoughtfulness of the guys who asked us in advance what route we'd chosen because we were traveling for literally five days. During those five days, we covered 2,000 kilometers, and the guys helped us adjust the entire route. They took a printed map and, with a pen, drew the upper route at certain locations where we needed to increase tire pressure. They marked where we needed to lower the tire pressure, and adjusted our route so that we could see as many of Namibia's most beautiful places as possible, all with such love and care. The guys were also always ready to listen to us with great warmth and care and help us in any way, fortunately we didn't need it. Our trip was wonderful. We drove a brand new Toyota Hilux, which literally had 13,000 kilometers on the clock when we picked it up. This is a new car. We crossed all possible deserts without any problems, drove to all the places we needed, visited everything we wanted to see, and even more. We spent an incredible number of hours behind the wheel of the car over these 5 days and had a simply amazing experience. Everything is new, clean, cool, everything works, everything was done with great love and care on the part of the guys, with great professionalism. My wife Maria and I are incredibly grateful to the guys and wish prosperity to their business, because such people deserve to see their business grow and develop for the attitude with which they approach it and how they run a seemingly simple business like car rental, but it turns into some special art of caring. We were super happy with with Bushbundu!

From the beginning of July to mid-August we rented a Hilux camper with 2 roof tents from Bushbundu and drove through Namibia and Botswana for more than five weeks as a family of four. This was our first holiday with a 4WD camper and roof tents. To be honest, we were pretty late with the booking - about 2 months before the start of the trip. And so we were all the happier that we booked with Bushbundu, a small but very fine car rental company.

What we particularly liked about Bushbundu:

GREAT COMMUNICATION: The owners Heino and Benita were very friendly and extremely helpful and happy to give tips for travel routes and camps. Both were available to answer any questions via their WhatsApp account during the trip and always answered very quickly and competently. For example, when our rear license plate fell off and was lost in the Caprivi Strip, Bushbundu directed us straight to a nearby petrol station and contacted them before we arrived, so that they could print us a new license plate. In Botswana, Bushbundu directed us to a workshop to repair the tent because screws had come loose due to the bad roads. GOOD INTRODUCTION: Bushbundu takes a lot of time to explain the car, how to set up and take down the tents and the equipment, and goes into all possible aspects and problems that could arise during the trip. We simulated a lot of procedures, e.g. setting up and taking down the tents or preparing to change the tires. After the introduction, we felt really safe and competent to start the trip. GREAT CONDITION: Our car and camping equipment were in fantastic condition and really well maintained. We had no problems during the entire time that could be attributed to maintenance issues. Bushbundu's garage is also so clean that you can sit on the floor, which you have to eventually - for example when you are shown how to change a tire and jack up the car. ;) FAIR DAMAGE SETTING: Small damages to the car that we ourselves caused were repaired by Bushbundu in an accommodating manner and settled financially with us in a very fair way. AND... Last but not least, Bushbundu helped us a lot to get my daughter's favorite cuddly toy through customs, which we had sent to Windhoek from the accommodation in Victoria Falls. A special thank you for that!

All these factors contributed to an unforgettable vacation. We will definitely go on a similar vacation again and if we come back to Namibia, we would definitely book...
