One stop shop for all things Indian, from groceries to cosmetics and vegetables and frozen foods. This is certainly one of the best Indian grocery stores in the city. Location: (4/5) It is located towards the west of the city and might be a bit of a trip for anyone living in the Center or the east. It is located close to the Tram 17 line and very close to Lelylaan Station. It sit near the corner and is quite visible from the signal. Store layout: (4/5) The store is slightly on the smaller side, but don’t let that deter you. The items are well displayed and easy to locate. As you enter the first aisle has products from Suriname and lot of pickles and pastes. The second aisle has masalas and cosmetics. The third as tea and lentils and the fourth has Haldirams and some sweets and Maggi. There is a vegetable section and a frozen section towards the back. Finally there is an Indian sweet section near the checkout. Products: (5/5) This place is brilliant. You can find anything and everything you may need to cook any kind of Indian food. You will also find that the quality of the products is really good. I have been shopping her for over year before posting this and can assure you that this is an excellent option. As mentioned they have almost everything. I must call out some notable things (1) Vegetables here are really good especially the bitter gourd, Indian shallots and ladies fingers - found them always fresh (2) Indian Sweets - very good quality and they have excellent packaging when you want to gift it to friends (3) the frozen section has such a wide selection - coconut, naan and just about anything you can think of. (4) Excellent variety of South Indian rices Service: (5/5) Excellent service! The staff are very good. They are always happy and really enjoy a good conversation. They help you locate things and will provide suggests for alternatives Incase something isn’t in stock. Summary: (5/5) Best Indian store in Amsterdam. You cannot go wrong will coming here to buy anything.

One of the Indian Shop which has the most reasonable rates on various Indian Items. You would find that everyone (all Indian Shops) claims that they are they are cheapest but the real story is different. The good thing is that they may not be the cheapest across all items but they have the most reasonable rates. They also have huge collection of Indian Stuffs. The staffs are well behaved.

Travelled a longer distance than I would usually do for my groceries, but didn’t regret it once after experiencing wonderfull service provided by the Lady working at the store. What really blew my mind is the honesty in which this lady runs the business. We bought a couple of things and she advised us not to buy these things as the quality would not be according to our liking. I mean we were ready to buy these things, and she still stopped us from buying it as the owner of the place. That is something very rare to me. She didn’t even say to take something else instead. However, I immediately gained trust, which is very important if I don’t know all the new products that I want to try out. This shows that the person running the shop is not busy with increasing sales but actually is looking for customer satisfaction. Another thing that is very nice about this shop… the sweets! I would try their barfi, it tastes really nice and fresh. If you want to try a couple of sweets don’t be afraid to ask, they are really nice and make sure you only buy items you don’t regret. Overall, 5/5 for quality 5/5 for service, don’t miss out this spot to get your products! My god, this almost looks like a marketing review, but you will understand me once you visit the shop and see the service and honesty. Keep it up...

Seriously, that woman behind the counter in Indian clothing is so horrible! Disrespectful towards some customers if they are taking longer to shop or don't want something. Gossiping behind customer's back to another customer. It is truly disgusting. Next to that it is so unprofessional. It doesn't mean if you have a business that you can treat other people, YOUR customers, like that: they pay for the stuff that keeps YOUR BUSINESS GOING. Lying about a lot of things. Seen it several times, heard it several times from others. Not coming here anymore, that's why I'm writing this review. Enough stores who offer respectful services when you shop there. The men are always friendly and a few ladies I saw, also very friendly. The shop is clean, but some products are expired: not a big issue if they solve it correctly with a customer. But, what a HELL to shop there if...
