Porto Marina — Restaurant in Amsterdam

We arrived in Amsterdam and roamed the neighbourhood of our hotel, running into this place by sheer luck (or karma?). I never tried Maroc Cuisine, so cannot judge its authenticity. Anyway, this place offers an interesting selection of (Spanish influenced?) Halal food full of the delicious Mediterranean spices . I spent an incredibly pleasant evening here with my girlfriend. The staff were friendly and accommodating, speaking both Dutch and English (and from what I could hear from other tables, Arabic as well). The food was delicious and hearty, with big portions appropriate to their price (for Amsterdam, this is particularly special). A great place to eat. We we're warmly welcomed by the staff, even though we walked in late with a group of six. They showed us what gastronomy is supposed to look like and created a true welcome and awesome atmosphere 🙏👌

Even for food allergies, which is often an issue, they came up with some great and very tastfull solutions. They even came back to check if some ingredients would be fine to use.
