Bergerbos — Local services in Bergen

Great place to walk, really nice vibes. Must-see for tourists, amazing for a family trip. Dogs can walk freely, and you are allowed to traverse through the forest on horseback. It's also the home of a beautiful estate "het Oude Hof". If you want to go to the movies, the forest has got your back, because it houses a beautiful arthouse cinema. Children can play at the various open sites and there's even a football field at your disposal. I would 100% recommended this place. 6/5...

This is a lovely pine forest on the outskirts of the suburb Bergen. There is free parking. The walking paths and horse paths are separated which is great. The paths are mostly flat in the forest area but there is also a section of dunes with beautiful sandy areas at the back of the forest. It's easy to get too by either taking the stairs or a flat path. Mom's would be able to walk with prams in the forest if the weather had been a bit drier. Makes for a nice morning...

Prachtig! Helaas zijn Staatsbosbeheer en PWN van mening het bos een maakbaar product aan het worden is. Gesubsidieerde boskap om co2 tegen te gaan, boeren te compenseren enzovoorts: idioterie ten top. Een bos neemt meer op dat het uit stoot: dat weet een kind nog dus enorme hoeveel heden verbranden geeft pakweg 100 jaar opname in één keer vrij waar bij de jonge aan plant nog nauwelijks iets op neemt. Eén volwassen boom neem tot 10.000 keer meer op dan zeer jonge boompjes. Ze zijn gewoon gestoord met hun bosbeheer! Ook stuifduinen waar niks vrolijk van wordt midden in een bosgebied creëren is waanzin. Blijf met je tengels van...
