Nothing really special about this course. If you in area and want to golf- course is fine for one round or two (one was enough for me). No set tee times- they just tell you to go to the tee box( #10 two days ago when I played). No marshal, no one in control of time to take off or groups you should play with. I was as single and no one would share a round with me until I passed 4 groups and settled with 3some. I requested a rental set, regular. Got ladies graphite P wedge and stiff shaft driver. Went inside after 9 holes to exchange to different driver and person at the club house was not really happy with me. Oh, well. Greens are fine, on the slower side. Fairways has a really hard ground. That course has 4.4 stars on Google, which is really far from...

The view looks very nice opening to the sea! I was excited to try this course! With a recent shoulder injury I asked the proshop if I could use the practice area to try a couple swings to see how my arm reacted. The proshop said it was only for members and said they had no equipment I could use to try. He offered no help nor any advice where I could go. Just asked, "so do you want a tee time or what?". No. Leaving a saw a whole room of rental equipment and no one was on the practice area. Simply the poorest attitude I have encountered at a club on my experience. ...

Visited on 4 June 2017. Stunning views but unfortunately the club has rude / impatient members.

My gf and I are inexperienced and naturally we took longer than others to progress through the course, although we stepped aside and allowed others to pass us. Despite our courtesy, two members that we had allowed to pass subsequently complained about us! What followed was an uncomfortable approach from a club representative, who brushed off the complaint after we explained ourselves to him. It was a cringeworthy situation overall and it soured our experience...

Waitangi golf club is probably one of my top 5 courses I've played at to date. Terrain was a challenge all day. Greens were true and quick. Front 9 was forgiving, however back 9 ,WOW , trying to keep it in play was a battle but Rewarding. Views throughout can't compare and i recommend a visit as one off the bucket list. Local pro Pieter happy to help aswell. 5 stars from me

Magic little spot. Taylor in the clubhouse was awesome - and suggested playing the back 9 due to its epic views. Course has benefited from the recent rain. Some great par 4s like the 12th pictured - reachable for the big hitters and par 5s play nicely too. Didn’t manage a bird on any of the 3s but that’s user error! Rock up and enjoy. P.s missed the eagle putt.

Really is a course of two halves, with front 9 being out the back through the bush, and the back 9 being centred around the waterfront vistas. Great course, but I did think that what you get for your money (course-wise) it's a bit above a country course, but priced well above that at $50, + $45 for a cart.
