I believe that it's quite a very unique and vibrant place to go for swims over summer as I believe that it's actually only an outdoor pool that would be closed for the winter although I've only known of indoor pools at gyms and recreation centers and I also know it's a pool where children must be supervised at all times and I can see that it also has a shallow pool for toddlers and babies and it's located at the back of Totara Park surrounded by Bush and native trees and it's as good as the beach and I live quite local to Totara Park as I believe it's because on of my number one hotspots to for a swim in summer and I'd recommend this idea to all my friends family and neighbors when it comes to a refreshing dip and soak in the pool over summer and I also know that it can get very crowded over summer and even in the actual park as I know it's also where Maori and Pacific Island People and families and children come to Totara Park for Picnics and BBQs and fun sports events, and any special events like parties and gatherings, and it's also and ideal hotspot for bushwalking, and I also remember 16 years ago I actually had to pay, but nowadays we only have to pay for our children to get in with the exception that for adults, it's free, just like Papatoetoe Pools, Otara Lesure Centre Pools and Otahuhu Pools where as any pools further south than Manukau like Manurewa and Papakura Pools you have to pay, but overall apart from Totara Park Restaurant, and the tennis courts, ideally Totara Park pools is the best facility Totara Park has to offer. And I'd give it a...
Read moreIt's always a pleasure enjoying some family time at Totara park pools during the summer periods. Especially being an open outdoor pool, within a large park that is blanketed around trees and bush. It has a huge walkway throughout the park for people wanting to stroll through the park. It has a small park for the children and large fields so that you can set up your volleyball net or play relays with friends and family. There is lots of BBQ areas with loads of shade and has toilets that guest can use. If you haven't been and would like to swim it is also FREE so you don't have to worry about paying an entry fee only to purchase the swim nappies for your baby which at the moment cost $2.50 or you could take your own. Make sure to pack a large picnic and...
Read moreWe had my nephews 1st birthday here, what a beautiful and clean park and has a outdoor pool you can have access to and modern toilets. Because of covid-19, they were only allowing 100 people into the pool at a time so it could be a wait at times. The park is mostly built for a child like 7+ but they have a lot of free space to run around. They also have a trail you can go for a little hike to get alittle cardio in. There were plenty of families there with bbq and a diverse culture of people so it was nice to see how everyone hot along in their own areas. Excellent place for a picnic and to hold a small...
