I feel bad posting this but sorry, the food was terrible. Only 1 person working and a half hour wait for food. Ordered $50 worth of food and burgers for 2 adults plus a 5 year old and easily finished the meal. Fish was unbelievable watery, batter was doughy and definitely undercooked. Fish bites were the same. The battered mussel was defrosted in the microwave in front of the customer. Food was only wrapped in a couple sheets and the grease easily went thru the packaging. Burgers tasted ok but very dry, the egg was overcooked so no runny yolk and the patties were the thin frozen supermarket ones. Also include a picture of the Hawaiian burger. I swear this is not doctored, that's how it looked when the lid was lifted. Also note you can almost see the carpet thru the paper Service was fine, unfortunately there needs to be more than good service for me...

What a wonderful surprise!! I have not had such BEAUTIFUL fish and chips since....well, since I don't know when!

You may be like me and find fish and chips are invariably a disappointment....they look good, they smell good, but the taste is anything but. So we usually bypass the fish and chip shop. But a spur of the moment decision saw us devovouring the yummiest takeaways we have had for a long, long time.

They were hot and crispy, not soggy or fatty. The fish was a generous portion of bluenose, and cooked perfectly. YUM!

I bought fish and chips and a hotdog for 4 people. I have highly rated the food from here in the past but was very disappointed this time. The owners/staff are just fabulous but the fish in particular was dripping in oil this time and very unappetizing. I suspect the issue is that the cooking oil wasn't hot enough so the food soaked up too much oil. @Black Cat Takeaways, please fix this problem. I want to be able to rate you 5 stars...
