Read moreUnfortunately my partner and I had a humiliating experience right from the start of walking into the wow museum, we were on our way to Little engine cafe which we adore so much, and were greeted by a very hostile manager. Before I explain the situation I would like to add that anyone has a right to politely ask about masks, exemptions and vaccine passes but noone has a right to treat others with rude and humiliating behaviour. We were yelled at from the counter, with others between us, in a rude tone about our masks, we politely replied we have mask exemptions and I emphasised a kind smile as I could tell she wasn't in a great mood, she then proceeded to yell at us more saying in a much more dark tone that we should have our exemptions out for her to see without her asking. A few elderly people heard her carry on and mentioned to us that it was extreamly rude and non professional of her. Unfortunately little engine lost us as customers today due to the humiliation we felt. Why are we all being treated like this if we are all doing the right...
Read moreI loved my time at Nelson Classic Car Museum today! What a brilliant find and what a valuable asset it is for Nelson! I loved the overall layout and displays and I enjoyed reading the labels too, all of which were very informative and interesting. My favourite cars on display were the 1951 Super Eight Buick, the 1971 Volvo, the 1959 Cadillac Coup de Ville and the 1959 FC Special Holden. The Museum makes you feel as though you are on a film set and the whole experience makes you feel happy and nostalgic. When I was looking at some of the oldest cars, I thought of Downton Abbey, while the cars from the '50s and '60s reminded me of moments straight from Mad Men. All of the cars are so clean and well looked after and I appreciated the opportunity to look inside many of them. I will definitely come back here and thank you so much for this...
